Horicon Marsh Boat Tours

Explore Horicon Marsh - Little Everglades of the North - America’s largest freshwater cattail marsh. Narrated pontoon boat tours or step-on-guide perimeter marsh tour.
Spring, summer and fall the marsh is a hive of activity as all its inhabitants go about their daily activities. The majestic American Egret glides effortlessly over the treetops... in the distance a Blue Heron calls...a muskrat scoots to the top of his house and looks at the world around him...the Black Crown Night Heron gazes intently as you glide silently by... your keen sense of smell picks up the fragrance of the trees and wild fiowers. Come and explore with us the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States, Horicon Marsh... Little Everglades of the North. Services offered, which can be customized to fit your groups needs.
  • One-hour sightseeing tour, one and one half hour Sunset Cruise and one-hour Birding Adventure.  All pontoon boat tours are narrated and take you into the inner marh observing the different species, plant life and animals in their natural habitat.
  • Step-On-Guide Service touring the perimeter of the marsh with stops at scenic overlooks. Can also be combined with the 1 hour pontoon boat tour.
  • Guided canoe trips for the more adventurous.
Tour Time: 1-3.5 hours
Cost: $6.50/person-$18/person; Complimentary tours for driver and escort.
